How are symbols uniquely human?

What will be an ideal response?

Humans are considered symbol-using and symbol-misusing animals. As humans, we create ideas like honor, community, justice, and peace. We can also use words (symbols) to deceive, manipulate, and exaggerate. Humans are the only animals who use arbitrary, abstract, and intentional symbols to create their social worlds.
