What procedure do you use to find a battery drain?
What will be an ideal response?
To find a battery drain, connect an ammeter between one of the battery cables and the battery. Turn everything off. Disconnect the fuse for the clock; the meter should show little or no current draw. If you still have a drain, keep removing fuses until the meter shows zero. This will tell you which circuit has the short. Pinpoint test this circuit until the shorted wire is found and repaired. When corrected, the ammeter should show only a tiny current flow to the clock.
