What is disability affirmative therapy?

What will be an ideal response?

It is the most recent approach to working with individuals with disabilities. Primary goal is to challenge the underlying premise that impairment is a personal tragedy and to question the notion that people with disabilities should be treated as victims of misfortune. It advocates a positive self-image and non-tragic view of people with disabilities. At the heart of this model is the concept of disability orientation.
