Discuss how to develop an appropriate mindset for networking.
What will be an ideal response?
Successful networking requires a positive, cooperative mindset. It requires viewing relationships as opportunities to give to, rather than take from, others. Based on this, networkers can be of two kinds: those who are self-oriented and those who are focused on others. Effective networking should be a reciprocal process; by helping others you in turn help yourself. An appropriate blending of the two orientations can create mutually beneficial interactions and develop a long-term win-win situation.
