Paver tiles are a type of clay tile. They may be glazed or unglazed and are much like ceramic tiles but larger. Typical sizes are 4 x 4 in. (102 x 102 mm), 4 x 8 in. (102 x 203 mm), and 8 in. (203 mm) hexagons. They are weather- and abrasion-resistant. Typical uses include residential and moderate duty commercial floors, such as in shopping centers and restaurants, and heavy duty floors, such as those found in a commercial kitchen. A variety of trim materials are available.
