Ans: Varies. State crimes are crimes or harmful acts that are committed by persons who work for the government and commit these acts in the pursuit of their jobs or on behalf of the government. This includes covering up evidence to a crime, allowing of human trafficking to take place, and routine torture of detained individuals. State crimes can be committed by any person working for the government; compared to police corruption, just includes police officers disobeying the law or thinking they are above the law since they enforce the law. Unlike state crimes, police brutality is a main source of police corruption, although they both can include violence and killing.
