Why is acid rain an important atmospheric pollution concern to Canadians?

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Much of the acidity of precipitation is created by humans. Because much of the polluting in the northeastern United States is often upwind of populous eastern Canada, the Canadians experience acid rain and cannot control the sources. Much of this part of Canada is unbuffered in terms of acid rain, so ecosystems are particularly harmed.
