Discuss the ways in which Muslim Americans are similar to other U.S. ethnic and religious groups.

What will be an ideal response?

Answers will vary but may include the diversity of the Muslim population. Muslim Americans are not uniformly religious and devout. Some are religiously devout, some are religiously moderate, and some are nonpracticing and secular, basically Muslim in name only, similar to a good proportion of U.S. Christians and Jews. They also share similar socioeconomic characteristics with the general U.S. population.
