What will be an ideal response?
The answer should include one of the definitions of speech impairments found in the "Definitions of Speech and Impairments" chart, located in Topic 5.1, in the chapter. The answer should indicate the following three types of speech impairments including an explanation of each: articulation which is the flawed production of speech sounds; fluency problems which involve hesitations or repetitions of parts of words; and voice problems which includes pitch, intensity, phonation, and resonance. Examples may vary and should indicate and reflect the selected speech problem.
