Explain what is meant by saying "money subverts objectivity." Give a real world example, preferably a different example than the one used in the text

What will be an ideal response

Objectivity suffers when experts become hired guns. Today corporations with economic goals and individuals with political ambitions fund specialized organizations to advance those corporate or personal interests. Whether they are called political action committees, think tanks, foundations, alliances, or industry institutes, many organizations today exist simply to promote the interests of their benefactors. Their strategy is to influence public opinion, to promote legislation that is favorable to the moneyed interests, and to derail government regulations that threaten profits. These organizations lobby legislators, blog and issue press releases, publish "white papers" and "newsletters" (advertisements), host "conferences" (sales events), and make "speakers" (salespeople) available. The text gives the example of the Heartland Institute. A stronger essay would be one that correctly uses a different example.
