Explain how illustrators and adaptors are different.
What will be an ideal response?
Illustrators support or reinforce spoken words and are used consciously and deliberately. Adaptors involuntarily reveal information about our psychological state while simultaneously meeting our own physical or emotional needs. Adaptors include movements such as nose scratches, hand over lips, chin stroking, and hair twirling rather than supporting our spoken words.
