Considering the diversity among families in your classroom, how will you make sure

that all families are involved in your class?

What will be an ideal response?

It is important for teachers to learn about their students' families and to embrace their diversity versus expecting families to conform to the teacher's cultural identity. Activities to involve all families may include: inviting families to volunteer or share in class, learning about other cultures by attending community events hosted by a culture different than one's own, welcoming families and ensuring translated materials and interpreters are provided.
