Briefly outline the steps for determining Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD)
What will be an ideal response?
The first step for calculating MAD is to calculate the mean for each set of numbers. The second step is to determine the deviation (difference) of each number from the mean. The next step is to find the absolute value for each deviation. The final step is to calculate the mean of the deviations by adding the absolute values of all of the deviations and dividing that sum by the number of absolute values that were added.
