Discuss the three stages of syphilis
What will be an ideal response?
Answer: In the first stage, primary syphilis appears. A chancre appears 10 days to 3 months after infection, in the spot where the bacteria entered the body. In the next stage—secondary syphilis—symptoms may include a rash on the body and possible hair loss. In most cases, the disease then enters a latent stage. If left untreated, it may enter a final, tertiary stage, which can result in blindness, neurological problems, and even death.
