How can you encourage children to do what you want them to do??
What will be an ideal response?
ANSWER:
Tell them what you want them to do rather than what you do not want them to do. Give examples that are very clear, and make the suggestions in positive statements rather than beginning with “don’t.” Reinforce what children do right: catch them at being good. Let them know when they have behaved as you wished. Help them refocus on a task by giving indirect suggestions or reminders instead of commands, emphasizing what you want the child to do. Use positive redirection whenever possible. Encourage children appropriately, being clear about what you are praising. Avoid global praise. Give reasons for your request.?
