Briefly describe the purpose of Process Flow Diagrams.
What will be an ideal response?
Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) present the process as a whole. They will show the primary process vessels and related equipment as well as showing input and output flows in such a way that the entire flow of the system can be traced from a single document. Pressure, solid or liquid flows, temperatures, and even material balances (the weight and makeup of input and output streams) are included.
