Define puberty.

What will be an ideal response?

Puberty is a brain-neuroendocrine process occurring primarily in early adolescence that provides stimulation for the rapid physical changes that take place in this period of development. It is characterized by a period of rapid physical maturation involving hormonal and bodily changes. Puberty is not a single, sudden event. We typically know whether a young boy or girl is going through puberty, but pinpointing puberty's beginning and end is difficult.

Among the most noticeable changes are signs of sexual maturation and increases in height and weight.
