How have changing demographics affected the need for teachers to be aware of cultural, racial, and ethnic considerations??

What will be an ideal response?

ANSWER:
According to government statistics, classrooms are populated with an increasing number of children who are culturally and linguistically different from one another and, most likely, from their teachers. Unless teachers are informed and educated about these differences, they may misinterpret a child’s ability, learning, and needs. Teachers may mistake them for slow learners or treat them as though they have a disability. Parents may be unfamiliar with schooling in this country and of the expectations teachers may have of them regarding their children. Informed and supportive teachers can help parents and their children succeed only if they consider the implications of these demographics.?
