Explain the difference between probate and non-probate assets.

What will be an ideal response?

Probate assets are all forms of property in a decedent’s estate that require a probate proceeding to distribute them to the proper beneficiaries or heirs. It doesn’t matter if the property has been conveyed by a will, it will still need to go through the probate process. Non-probate assets do not require probate proceedings and titles pass from the decedent’s estate to the beneficiary.
