What is a web query? How is it used to import data into Excel?
What will be an ideal response?
A web query allows you to import web data directly into an Excel spreadsheet. The web query also creates an active link to the website so the data can be easily refreshed as it changes. This is especially useful for financial or statistical data that changes frequently. By going to the Data tab and using the From Web button in the Get External Data group, you can access predefined web queries or create your own. These queries can be edited and filtered to customize the results as they appear in Excel.
