What does an MPR professional need to accomplish prior to a trade show to ensure that the event is a success? Explain your answer in detail

What will be an ideal response?

Once you select the trade show you are going to attend, your next step should be to pitch your connectors. Your connector list should include the media that are participating in the trade show as well as the media and bloggers you would normally pitch for a story about the products or services you plan to display at the show. Once the time for the trade show arrives, you need to prepare press kits for the show in hard copy form (that is, paper), electronic media like a CD or flashdrive, or a combination of both. These kits should have multiple distribution points. You should make a point to visit the exhibits of all media outlets at the show, to speak personally with each editor, and to give each a copy of the media kit. You should also have several copies of the media kit in your booth at all times; you should instruct anyone manning the booth to give one to any potential connectors who visit during the course of the show. If an MPR professional is not going to be in the booth at all times, you need to train the other firm members working the show in the basics of recognizing a connector and presenting him or her with a media kit.
