Why do some people think that cogeneration is a useful strategy for dealing with energy generation? Explain

What will be an ideal response?

manufacturing processes. If fuel is being burnt to boil water, why not also generate
electricity? (This was not allowed by regulators, who gave utilities monopolies.)
