The student should create examples of any three of the following: proximity (seeing objects
that are close to each other into a perceptual group), similarity (seeing objects that are similar to
each other as a perceptual group), closure (seeing a closed figure even where there are gaps), or
good continuation (grouping together objects whose contours form a continuous line). Common
fate will probably be difficult for students to illustrate, as it involves movement.
