• The employees know more about the organization and how it operates. Therefore, the likelihood of the employee having inaccurate expectations and/or becoming dissatisfied with the organization is reduced.
• Internal recruitment can have a significant, positive effect on employee motivation and morale when it creates promotion opportunities or prevents layoffs.
• It can prove to be an incentive for good employee performance.
• Most organizations have a sizable investment in their workforce so full use of the abilities of the organization's employees improves the organization's return on its investment.
