Explain the process of data-driven instruction

What will be an ideal response?

When implementing data driven instruction, teachers follow these steps. (1) Collect the data on each student that already exists on students. (2) Analyze data in a way that is meaningful using appropriate tools to determine students' strengths and needs. (3) Align objectives to assessments by planning collaboratively with your grade-level team to determine when you will be teaching district and state standards and how you will assess each standard. Gather data by using formal assessments, informal assessments, and technology. Use the data gathered to guide your next steps in the instructional process.
