Compare and contrast economic globalization with political globalization.

What will be an ideal response?

Economic globalization involves the integration of fragmented markets into a global economy. The
markets for goods and services, information, capital, and labour become worldwide, leading to free trade among nations. Barriers still exist to free trade among nations.
Political globalization is the process by which world power relationships change and there is a loss of
sovereignty by the state. The reduced role of the state is replaced by power being assumed by
multinational corporations, religious organizations, non-governmental organizations, social movements, and transnational terrorism.
