The steps involved in conducting SEM are 1. define the individual constructs, 2. specify the measurement model, 3 . assess measurement model reliability and validity, 4. specify the structural model if the measurement model is valid, 5. assess structural model validity, and 6. draw conclusions and make recommendations if the structural model is valid.
