Define, and provide two examples of, police corruption.

What will be an ideal response?

Answer may vary. Police corruption is defined as Illegal behaviors committed by police officers who use their authority as police officers to commit crimes which are motivated by personal gain. Examples would include police officers accepting bribes from criminals, for example, accepting cash from drug dealers in exchange for not arresting them. Extortion is also a form of police corruption; an example would be an officer threatening to arrest a prostitute unless she gives him money.
