What will be an ideal response?

Prediction number one is that the movement toward psychotherapy integration will continue and become even more heightened than it is now. The movement toward psychotherapy theories integration does not mean that graduate students will no longer have to study the theories presented herein, because they will be required to do so. Whereas previously graduate students could select one counseling theory as their theoretical framework, they will now be required to select two to three counseling theories and integrate them in some sort of meaningful way. Over the next decade, graduate programs will begin to adopt a multitheoretical framework.
