What are some characteristics of a strong password? What are some strategies for creating strong passwords that you can easily remember?

What will be an ideal response?

A strong password consists of at least eight characters using a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

To create strong passwords that you can easily remember:
-  Choose a short word that you can easily remember for one part of the password. The second part of the password could be the name of the file, web site, or account, but instead of typing it directly, type it backwards, or use the characters in the row above or below the characters that would spell out the name.

Or

- Split the name of the site and put your short word in the middle of the name.

Or

- Combine your standard short word and the site or account name, but replace certain letters with symbols-for example, replace every letter "E" with "#."

Or

Memorize a short phrase from a poem or story and use it with some of the substitutions described above.
