You have noticed that when removed from the mold, your football tends to collapse on one side. Give two possible causes, and solutions
What will be an ideal response?
One possible problem with the collapse on one side is that the mold could have been dropped on that side causing the cells to collapse on themselves. Or the material was not fully cured and when it was exposed to the air the air caused the cells to collapse. Also the chemical reaction between the poor mold release agent and the foaming agent could have caused the material to never fully expand and create a partially closed-cell part.
