What is a drug conspiracy, and how can this offense be established?
What will be an ideal response?
Drug conspiracies are agreements between two or more persons, with intent to manufacture and/or distribute drugs. In order to establish this offense, the state must show that an agreement existed, that the defendant had knowledge of the agreement, and that the defendant voluntarily participated in the agreement. An agreement may be inferred from a concert of action, participation from a totality of the circumstances, and knowledge from surrounding circumstances.
