1, Note that traditionally Democrats are made up of lower- and middle-class Americans, whereas Republicans are made up of the rich, or upper class.
2, Identify one specific issue area where income is relevant for determining political viewpoints. For example, on economic issues, more affluent people tend to be more conservative and less affluent people tend to be more liberal.
