Define sexual dimorphism, describe it in the crayfish, and list two other animals that exhibit this phenomenon.

What will be an ideal response?

Sexual dimorphism is the condition whereby males and females of a species differ morphologically. In the crayfish, males have a narrower abdomen than females, and the anterior two pairs of swimmerets are enlarged for clasping the female and transferring sperm. In small migrating birds, the male is often more brightly colored than the female. In humans, males are larger, on average, than females.
