are focused on the investigation of illegal immigration and management of the detention
of individuals who are either awaiting legal proceedings for violations of immigration law
or who are awaiting deportation. (3) The Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration
Services, which is charged with the administrative functions related to visa and
citizenship applications.
