You are about to set up rules for your classroom of young children. Briefly explain how you would set them up and why.

What will be an ideal response?

. A sample response follows. I would think of five of the most important things for the safety and mental well-being of my students and use them as the rules because those are the most important behaviors to control to avoid harm. I would discuss them with the children and enlist their help in coming up with wording we can all agree upon. I would discuss them with the class weekly and see if they felt anything should be changed or more clearly explained.
