What is the difference between a thermostat by-pass hose and a carburetor fuel hose?

Thermostat by-pass hoses are produced in various lengths. They are molded to the correct curves but must be cut to length, depending on the application. Carburetor fuel systems are under low pressure and use braided reinforced hose with a synthetic rubber cover and inner tube. It is only rated at 50-75 psi and is made of a special compound that does not react to gasoline or alcohols.
