A comprehensive snapshot of the organization at a particular point in time, allowing the managers to know the good and the bad within the organization in significant detail. 2) Where do we want to go? What does the organization plan to look like in the future? What is the vision and the mission of the organization? 3) How do we plan to get there? The creation of a plan that will allow the organization to reach the goals that it set in question 2 in order to become the organization that it envisions and to create a sustainable competitive advantage.
