Why is information analyzed, and what specific pieces of data would be of interest to the project manager?
What will be an ideal response?
The data is compared to a planned project baseline and is evaluated for
variations. If variations are detected, then an evaluation of the magnitude of the
variation would determine if corrective action is needed. This is how the project
manager “manages” project activities, instead of just reporting on them.
