What is collaborative law?
What will be an ideal response?
A method of practicing law in which the attorneys and parties seek to resolve their
family law differences without litigation. To encourage settlement, the attorneys refuse to
continue representing the parties if litigation becomes necessary; the parties must find other
attorneys if the case goes to trial. Collaborative law is a form of limited-scope representation
and alternative dispute resolution.
