Should a pregnant woman be allowed to drink alcohol if she wishes? Support your argument, citing some of the data on risk analysis

What will be an ideal response

Supporting drinking, some fetuses are exposed to alcohol but unharmed by it.
Others may be harmed if a genetic vulnerability exists. Opposing drinking, it's
exceedingly difficult to know how much alcohol may be too much since it is
dose-related. Even relatively small amounts may cause fetal alcohol effects. Fetal
alcohol syndrome and fetal alcohol effects may be prevented by abstinence.
Students should show support for argument, whatever side they choose.
