Kaiser (2007) reviewed the evidence-based practice for addressing challenging behaviors in early childhood interventions. Provide a summary of her findings.

What will be an ideal response?

Kaiser noted that “. . . training parents to implement systematic behavioral interventions is an important example of a strategy in which there is sufficient research for it to be regarded as an evidence-based practice” (p. 116). Despite there being evidence that training parents is supported through research, the actual training of parents and methods to do so are not well developed. She noted that this area of research and evidence needed further study before conclusions could be made about EBP in training parents.
