Assign students, or have them choose a state and find the state’s powers of attorney statues.
The citation codes for many states can be found on Figure 6.8 on pages 155-156 of the textbook. Copy and paste all or a portion of the statue, and summarize the meaning. Students should be prepared to share one interesting finding from their statue.
Answers will vary, but students should know how to locate a statue and be able to decipher and explain the statue.
