Explain why it is a good idea to place the most important information first on a web page.

What will be an ideal response?

People on the Internet are notoriously hurried and will often read only information that is located on the first screen that they see on a web page, rather than scroll through the entire length of the page. Therefore, it is a good idea to put the most important information at the top of the page. In other words, the most important information should be on the part of the page that is visible before you have to scroll to see the rest. You can use guides to emulate a newspaper fold line, which represents the place where a newspaper is folded. The most important stories are usually printed "above the fold" line.
