Explain the difference in presentation of a right-sided from a left-sided colon cancer

What will be an ideal response?

Right-sided colon cancer: The proximal half of the colon has a larger caliber compared to the distal half. Carcinoma in the colonic wall does not cause obstruction. However, it can ulcerate and bleed, leading to chronic iron deficiency anemia and the associated symptoms of fatigue and weakness.
Left-sided colon cancer: Distal portion of the bowel has a smaller caliber; a carcinoma in the colonic wall can cause obstruction and passage of goat stool-like stools.
