How did Baconian science differ from Galilean science?

What will be an ideal response?

Galileo relied on deduction and mathematics to create a theories. In contrast, Bacon
thought science should rely on induction based solely on observation. Bacon
mistrusted mathematics because of its emphasis on symbols, and he thought that if a
scientist approached observation with a theory in mind, that theory would bias the
scientist's observations (the scientist would tend to see nature in light of his or her
preconceived notions).
