Physical and environmental security ensures access to equipment and physical information storage places. Physical security also involves all of the organization's controls that are designed to make sure that the organization is safe from man-made or natural disasters including unauthorized physical intrusions, threats to physical facilities and buildings, and threats to the physical locations where IT equipment is kept.
