How do you locate and start a program that is not on the Dock, and how can you make it easier to locate this program the next time you need it?

What will be an ideal response?

Click the Finder icon on the Dock to open the Finder window. Click Applications in the sidebar (the left side of the Finder window), locate the program you would like to use on the right side of the Finder window, and then double-click the program to open it.

To save time in the future, you can add the program to the Dock by dragging the program icon from the Finder window to the location on the Dock where you'd like the icon to appear. Icons already on the Dock will move to make room for the new icon.
