What has Professor Askolovich forgotten about the experience?

Professor Askolovich is telling his students about his first time going to the movies. Listen to the conversation and then answer the questions in English.

On habitait à Versailles, à l’époque.

What will be an ideal response?

Galileo made dozens of telescopes in his lifetime and gave many away to interested colleagues and would-be patrons.2 The telescopes may seem very simple instruments to us, but the twenty-fold magnification provided by the smaller instrument enabled Galileo to make celestial3 observations that would help revolutionize humans' understanding of their physical world.
