Planning is the final component of the WDEP system and each reality therapy session should culminate in a plan. Plans are most effective when they emerge from clients themselves and it is important not to impose a plan too quickly on an unwilling or resistant client. For a plan to be effective it must be simple, attainable, measurable, and immediate.
